Labyrinth Foraging Platform Perch

This small perch can help encourage your birds natural instinct to dig chew and explore.

Chewing helps birds maintain their beaks and working to find food helps them to stay active during the day.

1 1/2" inch thick pine. 5 1/2" inches wide by 5 1/2" inches deep.

Stainless steel hardware, choose washer size

Cork stoppers and beads embellish the front of this perch. Four balls included to block the holes inside the maze to decrease the difficultly.

Creative and fun!

Rupert (Green cheeked conure) loves his new foraging toy! The channels are perfect and fit a variety of snacks and treats - I’ve easily tucked sunflower seeds, millet balls, pellets, and even oddball pieces like freeze-dried fruit/veggies. If it’s not obvious, Rupert is very food motivated. His favorite toys involve food or can be stuffed with a treat. This perch is nice and thick, and the edges are smooth. I wager it’ll last a long time, even when he decides to start “remodeling” it. Definitely give this a shot if your bird needs more opportunities to hunt and work for his/her food!

Such a fun, unique perch!

It's so hard to find innovative foraging opportunities for our birds to keep them entertained, especially for smaller species. This perch works well for both my Bourke's Parakeet and Jardine's parrot! The channels are small enough where they have to work a little, but large enough where I'm not worried about their toes. Definitely a new favorite!
